Compare and Contrast Married People and Single People
The most significant distinction between married people and single people is the degree of freedom. Compared to married people, single people enjoy much more freedom of financial usage, better mobility, more control of time, and fewer relations to worry about. First, married people have to care about their spouses’ opinions when they want to buy something or donate some NPOs while single people are free to spend their money on anything they want unless those things exceed their budget. Second, married people have to coordinate or obey their spouses when they want to go somewhere whereas single people are free to go everywhere. When married people want to travel to some countries or to places which have not been well developed, they may have to defer to their spouses’ feelings, and then they may be forbidden to go because the worries from their spouses, meanwhile, single people may enjoy their expanding views and thoughts. Third, single people enjoy more control of time; they can allocate more time to themselves than married people, who have to reserve a certain amount of time for their spouses or children. There are too many things worth doing, too many books worth reading, and too many places worth going to, and the single people have better chance to experience them. Finally, married people have spouses and maybe children to worry about while single people have less responsibility to other people. Thus the latter ones suffer less limitation. In conclusion, single people have better freedom in life.
