The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time

Author: Mark Haddon, HADDON

★★★

This is NOT a detective book, although it begins with a series detetive actions. This book revealed the emotional state of an autistic boy, Christopher. From this book, we can know how the boy started his detective advanture, and how he suffered the disgust and fear of talking to neighborhoods, cops, strangers.

This story begins with a dog being killed, and Christopher started the advanture of finding out the murderer. From a series of interviewing with neighborhoods, he's informed about something about his mother he didn't know. But he didn't believe that, the most believable things hime is come from his father and his teacher.

One day he found out that his mother didn't die, the way his father told him about his mother's disappearance couple years ago. When he found out the cruel thing his father did, he decided to escape, to find his lovely mother and live with her. He went to the train station, and scared by the pessangers and the sound made by the trains when the trains enter the station. On the way he went to London, he always picture a map in his brain with logic, induction, and deduction. He didn't believe his intuition, or he didn't have that.

This is an interesting story, and I have to admit that the boy is kind of similar to me.
